SM City North EDSA has a fun and educational exhibit going on until the middle of the month. Titled "Safari Adventure" and running the entire length of the mall's Sky Garden, the exhibit features animals found in an African savanna ecosystem. Some displays have animatronics and audio narration, and all have informative banners. This is definitely not my clearest photo of the various set-ups, but I love how the display contrasts with the lights, billboards, buildings and Metro Rail Transit System in the background that I just had to use it.
I can imagine this would be of interest to parents with children. Nice photo of it too.
ReplyDeleteWould be cool to visit late at night in the dark!
ReplyDeleteIntersting vignette. I am glad you chose this one too.
ReplyDeleteLOOK OUT! ESCAPEES FROM NOAH'S ARK!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking the same as Steffe. I can just imagine how spooky and strange it would be at night when all the people are gone. I wouldn't want to be alone there, I think.
ReplyDeleteJust don't try to feed the animals, Hilda!
ReplyDeletethey look real!

My Ruby Tuesday
Belle collection d'animaux empaillés, au moins ca coute moins cher pour les entretenir ;))
ReplyDeleteThe modern skyline and rail is indeed a contrast. Julie and I went to the Serengeti a few months ago (and have posted some photos of it this week on our Viva la Voyage website), and you would definitely not see any modern conveniences. We went 5 or 6 days without seeing a paved road.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and interesting display! I've always wanted to go on a Safari ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis picture is excellent Hilda!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you the contrast is fabulous!
Interessant composition!

ReplyDeleteb.ground, seems weird but how they're displayed looks really interesting. ^0^
How fascinating. It looks like a nice place to take kids!
ReplyDeleteThis is so eye-catching! Very cool shot!
ReplyDeleteMakes me somehow think of my colleagues at work, :). Please don't tell them!
ReplyDeleteAnd a really crowded jungle!
ReplyDeleteThis display is very well done! And, like you suggest, it's as if they were dropped as a group into the middle or urbanity! Cool shot!
ReplyDeleteMakes on wonder whom to be the stronger to survive in a large city.
ReplyDeletePlease have a wonderful Wednesday.
