Of all the colorful sculptures of Joel Ferraris at the Sky Garden of SM City North EDSA mall, Bloom is the only one with a practical application. I've seen people sitting on them, although mostly just to pose for photos. Wouldn't it be fun to have garden chairs like these?
Guess that sitting in these, there can only be happy and fun discussions - what nice a thought. Please have you all a good Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Ikea have chairs similar for kids not too long ago? Sweet idea for adults, though, too!
ReplyDeletethey're like candies ... ganda! dropping by Hilda...

ReplyDeleteI love these! So cute and colorful.
ReplyDeleteThe one on the left looks comfy! They would sure brighten up a garden :D
ReplyDeleteI like them, even if they do remind me of giant red snails...I would imagine the kids would get a kick out of them.
ReplyDeleteRe "roadhouse": I'm not sure, but I would guess it was a name given to "houses" alongside roads which offered various "goodies" to travelers.
Cody's Roadhouse is a place where you eat peanuts out of a big can, throw the shells on the floor, order a big hamburger and french fries and perhaps a margarita or two.
Oh gosh, I've read key words "blooom", "plant", "Ferrari(s)" and then I thought straight away about planting some Ferrari and see if I could harverst them, but I think you meant something different... :)
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

ReplyDeleteJacob gave me a smile (as he usually does)... These look like giant candy drops that threaten to come alive... Funny. I can see people - especially with children - going gaga with their camera here.
