Even though I don't post on every blog entry, I'm very glad to see you blogging again. I love your view of everyday life in the Philippines - you have a great way of showing things about a part of the world that's completely different from where I live. And I'm not sure I could afford a real Burberry jacket on my salary, especially with kids' college fees to pay! But luckily I'm a t-shirt and jeans guy (I dress up for work, I wear a polo shirt instead of a t-shirt).
Your taxi driver is not the only one!!I was reading in today's paper that 1/3 of French people buy fake brands!
ReplyDeleteI felt totally lost. I really should pay more attention to fashion.
ReplyDeletenice catch ;-) I think the price of burberry shirt that he's wearing is higher than his monthly salary LOL
ReplyDeleteI went to the site and noticed that every single one of those models look like they just swallowed a poison pill! Shouldn't Burberry make on happy!

Speaking as a Filipino person, I know we look terrible in those trademark Burberry colors! Ha ha! Fashion is such a hard taskmaster ;)
ReplyDeletewhether it's real or not, doesn't he look dapper.
ReplyDeleteHe does look dapper, though. (You wouldn't catch me dead in branded clothes, real or fake...)
ReplyDeleteBut we can all afford a fake one. And really, isn't it just as good?
