Duetto
Duetto is the name of the joint exhibit of artists Migs Villanueva and Anna de Leon at Galerie Stephanie in Libis. They hosted a reception last night for their friends and family. It also happened to be the birthday of Migs, a friend of my husband. Instead of a guest book, they placed a piece of canvass on an easel with Duetto written in block letters, provided a box of oil pastels and invited everyone to doodle on the canvass. They obviously had other artists among their guests—note the flamenco dancer and the dove. Someone has a sense of humor too—read what he wrote at the lower right corner.

I love art! I just can't paint. I use a camera! LOL
did you soup up those colors? So vibrant! I use the sharp and high contrast on my Panasonic FZ18 sometimes. Is this the natural color or your camera? Nice.

About the only thing I know how to do with our camera is to change the settings for light and film speed, put it the macro setting, and add/remove the flash. And the most I do with the images is adjust the brightness and contrast, and apply the Unsharp Mask filter. So the colors are probably all natural. In fact, I remember them being much brighter. :)
Very nice! Brings back memories of grad school days - put up a blank sheet of art paper and let everyone write birthday graffiti. But this is much more colourful!

That's an interesting idea, giving the guests to express themselves on a canvas.
Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. We - southeast Asians - Filipino and Indonesian in particular indeed share a lot of things in common. I remember eating the tamarind soup in Manila - the similar soup we have in Indonesia.
Last year I had a couple of students from the Philippines learning Indonesian and got to learn that Tagalog had quite a lot of words that are similar to Indonesian and Malay.
