I'm not crazy about electronic billboards in general, but if they were all as tastefully done as this one, I may not mind them too much. Especially if there are no other billboards on the road—a rarity in Metro Manila. This is the only billboard I've noticed along Roxas Boulevard. I guess no one's willing to spoil the view of Manila Bay and its wonderful sunsets. I'm glad.

Cute photo Hilda !
When there are too much advertising, we don't read them...
Have a nice day !
It looks like a speedometer. What does it advertise, Hilda? Car? Fuel? (Just guessing ... hehe).
I can't guess what it is advertising, either! What is it?
Is it an advertisement for a car? That's my guess.
tu as de la chance de ne pas avoir beaucoup de panneaux publicitaires, car cela souvent gâche le paysage.
you're lucky not to have a lot of billboards, as it often spoil the landscape.
I share your annoyance over the billboards but can't help wondering what this one's advertising, just like everyone else..looks like a car.
I think it was fuel, but I don't really remember. There was a second part to this ad. The images changed every 15 seconds or so, and I wasn't paying attention or trying to catch any particular ad. :)
With the description, I thought it was going to be a small billboard, that's big! In my town, those electronic ones were outlawed at first, on the grounds they would distract drivers.
Hello Hilda, I never pay attention to billboards , especially because most of the time I am driving.
Hi Hilda,
I’m not found of billboards either. They are not allowed here and I’m thankful for that.
It looks like Tuesday will be my last posting on Sitka Daily Photo. In these questionable economic times I feel very lucky that my business is taking off and growing. But, I know it is not going to grow on its own, so that means I need to put more time into it. Of course that means less time for leisure things like blogging and taking photos.
I’ll keep checking in on your blog from time to time, because I always enjoy your posts and photos.
Thanks for all your kind words on my blog!
Take care,
Yes, it's a pity that this ad remove the view of the back. Business is business
Hopefully they don't put up any more.
Over here they also have them on the side of garbage and recycling bins as well as bus shelters.
