Claret

Claret School of Quezon City is a private school founded in 1967 and managed by the Claretian Missionaries of the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It is named after its patron saint and the founder of the congregation, St. Anthony Mary Claret. It has a preschool, grade school and high school. Except for 3 to 4 year-old girls accepted in the preschool, Claret School is exclusively for boys. Actually, most private elementary and secondary schools in Metro Manila are either for girls only or for boys only. Most of them are run by religious congregations too.

    ahh, so this is how Claret looked like at day. Gabi kasi nung pumunta ako dyan eh. The building's exterior resembles a school structure I recently designed, with all that adobe blocks.

    by the way, about "coming-of-age" ceremony, the age of majority in Japan is 20.

    Very imposing building. It is interesting that you still have boys and girls schools. I went to a girls only school for my primary and it was awful. Lots and lots of screaming and bitchy young girls...All the best. Antonella

    They have imposing buildings to work in there and me too I thought it was about the wine...

    In France it's rare to come across single sex schools. It's one of those issues that I'm ambivalent about. Boys and girls both perform better in a single sex environment and yet both benefit from being together e.g. girls are less bitchy and boys more....civilised:)

    Oops, sorry! Claret, the wine, is not common or popular here so the possible confusion didn't even occur to me.
