The evening's rain clouds limned by a rosy sunset, a little haze from vehicular pollution, and the ubiquitous power cables crisscrossing over your head. Welcome to Metro Manila.
Visit the Sky Watch Friday home page and tour the skies of our interesting world.
I love all the elements in this photo. Great for SWF.
ReplyDeleteYou got a beautiful photo from not so nice 'ingredients'...
ReplyDeleteA very cool shot and amusing title, Hilda. I can always count on you for a smile.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
Great SkyWatch shot Hilda, power lines and all.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, the clouds remind me of some sort of animal and the wire reminds me of a cage.
ReplyDeletelove the shot, the inclusion of electric wires has given this shot another dimension in composition.
ReplyDeleteYou said a lot with one photo and a few words.
ReplyDeleteSeems as if there's much energy to be found in your sky.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful Friday for you.
Catchy title, and the clouds are magnificent!
ReplyDeleteWell you turned those pesky darn wires into a fabulous SKYWATCH photo. Lovely lovely, Hilda!

i kinda like this abstract-looking photograph ... technology criss-crossing nature. have a good weekend, hilda.
ReplyDeleteThe lines made it more a unique sky! IT is glowing with colors!
ReplyDeleteYep that's Manila! I can see cables everywhere haha.
ReplyDeletei'm visualizing an old acoustic guitar (lol). i'm calling it "view from the inside". :P
ReplyDeleteHey Hilda, on a photo shoot this week, I had the same feeling, "those wires are everywhere. can't avoid them. Might as well incorporate them into the photo." Lovely sky shot!
ReplyDeleteBigla ko po tuloy namiss ang Pinas hehehe.. Thank you very much po for visiting and for your warm comment on my first entry..
ReplyDeleteI love how the cable lines accentuated the color of the sky, so pretty!
never really notice the wires until its time to shoot. they do divide the picture nicely though.
ReplyDeleteHello dear Hilda,
ReplyDeleteA beautiful and somehow mysterious sky!Wonderful capture, congrats!
Have a nice weekend,
Léia
Very busy, interesting,cool, sky.
ReplyDeleteThe sky is as wired as «Louis» will be when he finishes the four-shot latte he just made for himself.....
ReplyDeleteI like the muted colors.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
cool! thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Australia.
ReplyDeleteNicely done - all too often the power lines spoil a photo, but here, they have added to it. The crisp, clear wires and the haziness of the clouds make for an interesting shot.
Thank you for visiting my blog and your kind comments.
May you have an enjoyable weekend.
Cheers.
That's a creative photo. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI like it too, the wires keep it from being 'just another cloud photo'!
ReplyDeleteI often refuse to take a photo with power lines in it - but then I see a shot like this and realize those lines can add a whole new element to the picture.
ReplyDeleteEven with those power cables it is still pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe power lines make for an interesting skywatch. Have a blessed weekend, Hilda.
ReplyDeleteIts a great sky and shot. Never mind the wires:).
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
I like the glow on the edges of the dark clouds!
ReplyDeleteI like glow of the skies but not the ubiquitous clouds marring the view. My skywatch is up too.

i really hate those wires! i remember one of my earliest blog posts was about the chaotic wires in the country.
ReplyDeletei actually have a favorite shot/view from our pagudpud trip but there were wires from that view.
I have the same problem with cables here in Tennessee. But that rose-tinted cloud is still beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wired sky too! Cool. Thanks for visiting mine!
ReplyDeletebeautifully composed.....Love it
