Wired sky

The evening's rain clouds limned by a rosy sunset, a little haze from vehicular pollution, and the ubiquitous power cables crisscrossing over your head. Welcome to Metro Manila.

  5. Great photo, the clouds remind me of some sort of animal and the wire reminds me of a cage.

  15. Hey Hilda, on a photo shoot this week, I had the same feeling, "those wires are everywhere. can't avoid them. Might as well incorporate them into the photo." Lovely sky shot!

  22. Greetings from Australia.
Nicely done - all too often the power lines spoil a photo, but here, they have added to it. The crisp, clear wires and the haziness of the clouds make for an interesting shot.

Thank you for visiting my blog and your kind comments.
May you have an enjoyable weekend.
    Cheers.

  25. I often refuse to take a photo with power lines in it - but then I see a shot like this and realize those lines can add a whole new element to the picture.

  31. i really hate those wires! i remember one of my earliest blog posts was about the chaotic wires in the country.

i actually have a favorite shot/view from our pagudpud trip but there were wires from that view.

  32. I have the same problem with cables here in Tennessee. But that rose-tinted cloud is still beautiful.
