I did some last-minute shopping yesterday and saw this charming Christmas Village at The Block in SM City North EDSA. You wouldn't believe how long I had to stand with my camera at the ready to get photos of each without all the people posing in front of them.
Santa's Mail Station
Elf School
Winter Café
Nutcracker Inn
Frosty Shop
haha, they all look very cute hilda!
ReplyDeletei know how exhausting it is to wait in line among the hordes of people..
ugh!!
anyway, that's one of the reasons why we celebrate the yuletide seasons i guess...! ^0^
merry Christmas to you and your family! ^0^
The snow in these scenes must be more than a little incongruous in Manila! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI wonder how one is chosen to design Santa's various mall villages. It looks like it would be fun. Not one shopper in any of your photos...unbelievable.
ReplyDeletethose are adorable!! i love christmas mall decorations. have you seen the window display of rustan's this year? :)

*** I have also some "last minut"shop to do butttt, all mess at street about the snow here and I'm not confident to drive, even confident to walk!Maybe later...
Thank you very much for this little 'escape' into a village so mistical it is rarely seen.
ReplyDeleteThank you also for the effort you did make to take these nice pictures.
Please have a wonderful Tuesday.
Hilda, the shopping you did yesterday was not "last minute." Last minute Christmas shopping would be shopping that you do the day after tomorrow. You must be an organized person.
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I buy all our presents on our travels, wrap them and put them in the closet. We never have to do any last minute shopping. We just go into the closet to retrieve gifts.
How sweet these are, how patient you are. Someone, or several someones, worked hard on these decorations. It's nice to know they are appreciated, even if it meant you had to wait, wait, wait for these perfect shots.
ReplyDeleteExcuse me, Ma'am, but I'd like my photo taken in front of the Frosty Shop .....
ReplyDeleteFun snaps, Hilda!
Thanks for your patient! It is beautiful indeed.

Great shots...worth waiting for. Although I don't promote (or do) a lot of shopping, I do enjoy being around a lot of people and seeing all the Christmas decorations. This seems worth a trip to the mall a few days before Christmas.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your questions...Yes, that picture on my blog was taken in front of our chapel...and the that Noble Fir is about 12 years old. They usually grow about a foot a year and many of our Christmas trees come from Oregon and Washington. Thanks for visiting and I pray that you will have a blessed Christmas.
Looks like a real snow there Hilda. Lovely decos.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to get these beautiful pictures Hilda!
ReplyDeleteThey do a wonderful job of decorating this Mall, Hilda. Your photos are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New Year, my friend.
a charming little village that seems to have imported snow
ReplyDeleteBeauiful photos - it's like something out of a children's story book.
ReplyDeleteHave a very mery Christmas.

ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how long it took you to get these pictures, but I think they were worth it. This is a beautiful, charming Christmas village.
ReplyDeletewonderful, brings me back to my childhood!
ReplyDeleteI imagine that it took 1/2 of your shopping trip to get 'people free' photos. Great series of shots.
ReplyDeleteLeif:
ReplyDeleteYou and half of the people inside the mall! The Frosty Shop was the most popular and the longest I had to wait for. And I only managed to get this single 'people-free' photo.
