Split hull

I do not know anything about this boat, even its name, which was just a string of numbers that my brain refused to remember. I just like how catamarans look. It was docked near Harbour Square last weekend when we went to the Cultural Center of the Philippines to watch The Nutcracker performed by Ballet Philippines and accompanied by the Manila Symphony Orchestra.

  1. You captured the night scene very well Ms. Hilda.

The place looks romantic and I feel like spending one of my nights there.

Hmmmm I'm thinking of something else. :)

  2. I am so glad you like catamarans and that you stopped to photograph this boat...this is such a good photo. I like the sharpness of the boat, the glistening water, the lights and the reflections. Heck, what is there not to like?

Did you hand hold the camera or did you have a tripod?

  7. Fantastic! A lovely photo of a great boat. I miss the sea here and although it's not very far it's not the Ocean that I like so much. Have a great weekend. Ciao. A.

  16. Jacob:
No tripod, but I did try to stabilize my arm on the big lamps of the promenade.

    Halcyon:
I wish I could. But the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) has a strict no camera policy. You actually have to surrender your camera at the gate before they let you in. I can't share the lovely interiors of the CCP or any of its resident performing arts groups, including Ballet Philippines. :(

  17. Nice shot, Hilda!

«Louis» has been intending to get a photo of the catamarans that ferry passengers between Larkspur in Marin County and San Francisco. Maybe this will get him moving...
