It's just a job
Working in a university with so much youthful energy can be a source of many surprises. I stepped out of our building one afternoon and came upon these two clowns having lunch under the small bamboo grove beside our office. One of the student organizations had organized a show and party for the children of the poor community that they work with. I wonder what the clown on the left is thinking. He looks quite pensive.

ReplyDeleteManila is a city I've always wanted to visit. I've made it as close as Southern India, but that's still a ways away. A good friend of mine in college was from the Philippines and spoke so highly of it.
...and yet so much more.

ReplyDeleteTo answer your question about the City Daily Photo group, I am ineligible to join the portal because Long Island Daily Photo represents a region, not a city.
Eric encouraged me to join as just a city from Long Island, but I thought Long Island is an interesting place in and of itself.
It's OK though, I still feel like I am part of the network since most people do not notice and even those who do are just encouraging me to join. It is such a welcoming community. I really love it.

Great looking clown outfits and so nice to hear they are engaged in "good works."
ReplyDeleteThe clown on the left is wondering why half of his hair isn't green to match his other pant leg. Or, he might be trying to figure out a way to distract the clown on the right so he can grab his food.
One never knows what goes
