Remember the photo of
TriNoma mall's facade which I posted two weeks ago? This is what the little stand of trees looks like from the curved walkways on the upper floors. There's a small fountain in the middle of it. What you can't see because of the trees is that the four sides of the fountain are cordoned off. My guess is that the mall administration was having problems with too many kids (and even adults) trying to bathe in it. TriNoma is right beside a
large squatter community, after all.
Natural or man-made, take a refreshing dip in Watery Wednesday.
No bathing, well that isn't any fun. What if I just stick my feet in. It would feel great at the end of the day.
ReplyDeleteThis is how it looks like from the top.... mini forest in the middle of the city ...... dropping by HIlds.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy it must be to be a tree, standing above this eternal source of life, provided by your fountain tonight.
ReplyDeletePlease have a wonderful Wednesday.
Very creative capture of the trees!
ReplyDeleteIt is sad that our government has not cleaned up the squatter community. A great distraction to the Trinoma mall? I bet that could be the reason for closing it off.
ReplyDeleteNice post Hilda. Its great to know some updates of our country.
Good topic for Watery Wednesday, Hilda.
ReplyDelete;-)
j'aime bien cette "Foret" suspendu sur la fontaine, cela rend bien
ReplyDeleteAn interesting shot with a nice view.
ReplyDeletePretty with all the surrounding greenery.
ReplyDeleteSTOP! IN THE NAME OF LOVE... is my Wednesday entry!! do come by if you can, I'd love to have your company today.
I would never have thought that people would try to bathe in a public fountain! The building I work in is located right across the street from a homeless shelter and every once in a while, someone will try to take a bath in one of our restrooms.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I think most Americans would not even dare to put their feet in a fountain.
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing is that there are people who would actually like to bathe there. Hopefully they'll find better facilities.
It looks pretty...Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteMine is here
i had to click on the "sq' link to know what's it about and i can't help but laugh at your previous post on "chestpacks!" ^0^
ReplyDeletethat's something i can so relate to, coz i do that when i travel, call me paranoid! lol.^-^
and as for the sq headquarters,
it will always be a headache to our society which unfortunately, nobody seems to give a dang thing about it, i really hope the "next" someone will take this problem seriously and actually take action.
Love how it's lit up :D
ReplyDeletegreat shot...thanks for the visit...im adding you on my blog roll...nice blog and need to be included in my blog roll hehehe...
ReplyDeletehave a wonderful thursday!
hugs,
blue
What a wonderful perspective of the trees and fountain.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad the trees block the view of the fountain. People sure can spoil things.
ReplyDeleteI like the very warm light in this shot!
ReplyDeleteThe lights are lovely as is this photo.
ReplyDeleteIt clicked on the link for "large squatter community" and it took me to this post that is quite touching. Specially because it could fit very well in my home country's reality...
ReplyDeleteNever give up hope!
God bless you!
Cezar
Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes...Luna
I guess if you're really poor and have no other facilities available you'll use what you can find...at the same time, it probably isn't very sanitary not to mention the problem of gawkers standing around watching the "bathers."
ReplyDeleteI also the lighting. Sad about the squatters.
ReplyDeleteI can see how little kids would be attracted to the water! Very nice with the trees. Amazing that they do so well in the mall. Thanks for the visit to mine. Enjoy the day...
ReplyDeleteI would definitely try to have a bath!
ReplyDeleteGreat light, it is funny that even adults try to bathe there...
ReplyDeleteHow interesting about the squatter community using the fountain to bathe.
