So what's beyond yesterday's little blue and white bridge? The greenhouse that I remember from my youth is gone and has been replaced by this pretentiously named Biological Research House. (I warned you it was a disappointment.) Whatever the students have in there, it seems that they have to be protected from too much sun; those are black garbage bags tied over the windows. I couldn't take a peek inside because the structure is completely surrounded by a chain link fence with padlocked gates. I guess their projects have to be protected from vandals too.

Hmmm... that's sort of sad. And definitely disappointing!
This must have been especially disappointing to you! Like the stone path leading up to it, though.
surprenant de mettre des sacs de charbon pour protéger les fenêtres !!!!
So sorry to know, even imagine vandals there, I hope everything is okay with the projects inside the house.

It would have been so pleasant to see a greenhouse. This little white house is not pangit (ugly), but the black plastic garbage bags are. Like Jacob, I like the stepping stones. And then on second thought, there is something a little creepy about a fenced in, closed up, draped up house purporting to do "biological research"... think about that!
This scenario sounds vaguely familiar. It may happen here, probably it has already happened somewhere.
Hmmm, with all that protection, you sort of wonder what they're actually up to in there.
Makes me think something secretive is going on. I must have a suspicious mind!
This is just another example of how hard it is to visit a fond memory.
Just follow the stepping stones...
there it goes! truly a old spot to remember. good that they retained it there despite the other structures which were being refurbished.
hee hee...
«Louis» wonders what they have to hide?!
Thanks a lot for passing by.
Greetings

Aw, you didn't even get to look inside? That is disappointing...but I did like that bridge :-)
Oh so THAT'S where it leads to!!! Wow... all these years in Ateneo and I've never ventured there. It looks like an abandoned place though... like the sort of place that kids concoct all kinds of horror stories about.
I guess this building explains why the floorboard of the bridge is in such sad shape. I wonder what secrets are being protected here?
Disappointing that this amount of security is needed
Now this made me curious about what's going on there!
hi hilds, waaa, waiting for your fotos to load seems forever, seriously, i think i have to change my server. ^0^
i've never been to ateneo before, so thanks for showing this.
it seems secluded and like mia, i too, am a lil scared. ^0^
the place reminded me of my high school lab days. ^0^
but i like how you took those stepping stones.
Maybe they are growing some botanicals that will save the world from the people who inhabit (and destroy) it and it must be protected until it is ready for deployment because the oil companies might want to destroy it. LOL. After effects of last's nites wine, maybe : )
Sorry, you were disappointed, Hilda.
At least you can stop wondering about it now Hilda!
How very mysterious! I wonder what they are growing in there. Hmmmm......
That path looks fun, even if the building was disappointing. It's all so tropical and green, very unlike anything in my part of the world.
what!? parang mali pala ata yung naiisip ko. hahaha...i was thinking of the swimming pool.
i dopn't recall having been here.
