When I
first wrote about SM City North EDSA mall's
Sky Garden, I mentioned that it was a response to the challenge of the more beautiful TriNoma mall, with its
lush plants and numerous water features, which opened right across the street. The Sky Garden has some ponds too, and Starbucks opened a branch right beside one,
like it did in TriNoma.
Natural or man-made, take a refreshing dip in Watery Wednesday.
That is a large pond, to be in a mall! I am looking at the elephant tusk pillars, though!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous lighting on this water feature! Lovely setting for a mall!
ReplyDeleteStarbuck est partout ;o)) cela donne un cote sauvage au centre commercial, une belle lumiere sur cette photo
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of the jungle-like university campus. You made a machete to go shopping here too soon
ReplyDeleteI wanna go there! Hope you're okay after last night's Basyang!
ReplyDeleteoh gosh, I like so much this composition, this picture is wonderful! :)

Cool water feature, it doe shave a jungle look to it. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe Longanisa Resto there is my favorite! =)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a big pond. Cool lighting. I wonder how it looks like during the day. Parang mas refreshing syang tingnan.
ReplyDeleteStarbucks has spread across the actual globe and throughout cyber space. Even on CDP!
ReplyDeleteI am not a huge fan of starbucks. But I like this fountain!
ReplyDeleteI don't usually visit Starbucks, but I would be tempted at this location. What a beautiful place for enjoying a quiet cup of coffee.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a pretty place to get a cup of coffee! In paranoid America, though, you would never find an unfenced pond in the middle of a mall-- the developers would be too worried a child would fall in and they'd get sued!
ReplyDeleteThat does not look like it would be found in a mall!
ReplyDeleteCould hardly tell this is in a mall. Lovely unique setting found in an unnatural location.
ReplyDeleteMallwars 2, the return.
ReplyDeleteStarbucks are everywhere! This is a fine photo, Hilda!
ReplyDeleteI can't drink Starbuck's coffee at all. Tastes yucky. And it's way overpriced.
Malls in Manila are really some of the most interesting in the world. This is why many people go to the mall even if they have no intention to purchase anything.
ReplyDeleteHave you started enjoying the summer yet? Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!
Nice watery shot. [Hope Basyang didn't disrupt too much of your day!]
ReplyDeletethis one upsmanship feud going on with the malls could only spell good times for the consumers who would find better facilities for them right?
ReplyDeleteso i say go and fight for "my" business.
i guess this is not done yet when i visited manila last January 2010? hindi po ba?
ReplyDeleteno disneyland in manila only huge shopping malls!
