I posted a similar photo of the Rizal Library of the Ateneo de Manila University back in May, but one taken in the early evening when the windows look completely transparent. I just find the difference in the opacity of the windows—depending on the light and the time of day—absolutely fascinating.
This type of building lends itself to studies in contrasts in different light.
ReplyDeleteun très beau bâtiment, surtout avec toutes ces fenêtres.
ReplyDeleteNice example of modern architecture!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day:)
that's a very sosy library. ^_^
ReplyDeleteand i think i like this one better.
I've never thought of this effect quite this way. Thank you, Hilda.
ReplyDeleteHi Hilda! Thanks for the "welcome back"! Great trip but a long one! We drove almost 4,000 miles!
ReplyDeleteI like both of these shots...actually, I like the night shot best because of the light then. But you've shown dramatically once again why photography is all about light (or the lack of it!)...
This building is massive!Wonderful picture!
ReplyDeleteLéia
the whole building comprised of the library? now that library has extensive collections then.
ReplyDeleteBoth are good photos, but in this one I can see it's a rather nice building! Sorry, Hilda, but I can't say that often about modern urban architecture in Metro Manila.
