The headquarters of the
Hukbong Dagat ng Pilipinas (Philippine Navy) is dwarfed by the headquarters of the
Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines). Both are along Roxas Boulevard in the City of Manila.
See what's reflecting what at James' Weekend Reflections.
Made me wonder about time and who might be having a longer breath ... Please have you all a good start into the weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a contrast! And the bank looks like a giant solid brick...
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
what a tall building. Lets hope there is no power cut.
ReplyDeleteInteresting reflection of priorities, isn't it, considering the Philippines as an archipelago of over 7000 islands has a LOT of water and a LONG coast to defend.
ReplyDeleteBanks are always more extravagant ;D
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a contrast between the navy and a bank. It does make a person wonder about priorities.
ReplyDeleteThe large building looks so solid and strong. I think I like the smaller white building better though. :)
ReplyDeleteI used to pass by here when going home (cavite)! did they clean the area?
