Canadian Geese. The Goose Station (a play on "dégustation" and the fact that the chef-owners love foie gras and feature it in many of their dishes) at Bonifacio Global City, where our college group had a despedida dinner for our dearest Vic and Cecile who have migrated to Canada in search of a better future for their children.
Welcome back Hilda!!
ReplyDeleteNakakatuwa namang tingan yung mga directions, parang ginawang paa haha!
Goodluck to Vic and Cecile.

ReplyDeleteI guess it makes sense to celebrate people going to Canada at a restaurant named for geese. Your friends will be seeing lots of geese. And they may be keeping themselves warm with coats and bedding containing goose down
Yes, welcome back. I like the pun.

ReplyDeleteHello dear Hilda! I'm glad you came knocking... I've not been blogging daily either, with my plate full of work here in Romania (no, I have not left Manila, but am here on a four-month project; it's half way now). Like everyone else, I am glad to see you back. I hope you had a restful and productive break. I'm so sorry to hear people still feel they need to leave the Philippines to give their children a better future. (My work, btw, is about migration.)
