Let there be lights in the vault of heaven. The central chandelier at the new Commonwealth branch of the Loyola Memorial Chapels, where the wake of the mother of one of my dearest friends was held.
I visited an aquarium not too long ago where the most stunning jellyfish swam. This chandelier reminds me of the graceful, bejeweled-looking creatures.
An extraordinary architectural photograph. It makes me thing of the orbs and spheres on the pre-Galileo picture of the universe.

ReplyDeleteThat is quite extraordinary and very beautiful! I wonder if there's a back story or if it has a particular religious symbolism.
