That's the nickname given by the students and faculty of the Ateneo Professional Schools to the diamond-shaped bridges crossing the central atrium of the Rockwell Campus building. They do look a bit like a ship's prow, especially from the fourth floor lobby.
What a great perspective you've captured here, Hilda.
ReplyDeleteI like the symmetry. Looks a bit like a shopping mall.
ReplyDeleteAnd very cool, the tree planted in the middle.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful building with a good light inside. Great photo too.
ReplyDeleteBut presumably safe from icebergs in the middle of Manila!
ReplyDeleteLovely and light, do the students like their space?
ReplyDeleteHehehe--an appropriate nickname! I'll bet the person who came up with that is pretty proud it caught on. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great angle and wonderful photo. Love the light in this atrium.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my blog and yes they are my friends...
Modern architecture with a very positive "green" idea, lots of natural lights around, it's a wonderful place!
ReplyDeleteLéia
Their geometry adds so much to the view! You with the kalesas, us with the rural mailboxes; seems we are both waxing nostalgic!
ReplyDeletePerfect symmetry! Well done, Hilda!
ReplyDeleteThe shapes are eye-catching and very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWell, I happen to like those Titanic design features! An unsinkable idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous place! Looks like an upscale mall!
ReplyDeleteGood analogy!
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting how the Titanic continues to fascinate people world-wide after all these years - and «Louis admits to being fascinated by it as well!
Wow nice ang ganda.
ReplyDeleteLooks nice, and a nice nickname to the place.
