It's true! On first viewing, they look like real people. I'm not quite sure whether they're being unloaded off or loaded onto the truck. What is the story here? And what role do these sculptures play?
Montreal: The sculptures are of Filipinos in various types of native dress. They're arranged on benches in the plaza and they do look very real. These were being loaded onto the truck when I passed, but just to be changed, I think, because there were still a lot of them sitting around and conversing :) when we passed through again in the evening.
I don't understand this but it looks like a bunch of plastic people are rolling on the floor in laughter which is commendable as rolling on the floor in laughter is hard to do when you're made of plastic.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought they were viewing a yoga class. Interesting how thoughts influence perception. Finally it dawns on me that they looked a little too rigid. It takes me a while, but the light bulb usually turns on.

I, too, thought at first glance that these were real people and this was a yoga class.
I thought that was theatrical rehersal. Now it looked quite comical retrospectively.

I had to really look at that photo - at first I thought it was a YOGA class! It's late, my eyes and I are tired and my contact lenses are fuzzy......
Count me among the others who thought these were real people doing yoga! Ha ha ha!
