At the party celebrating the silver anniversary of Ateneo de Manila College Class of 1986, professional photographer David Fabros—a member of the class—took portraits of lucky early blackbirds gratis.
Olivier, this wasn't in a studio. It was in the loft of the bar where we had the party. David brought his backdrop and lights though. But yes, it would have been a lovely studio.
A wonderful gesture. And were you one of the lucky early ones?
Sorry about the confusion. Yes, you were gone a long time! :-) At some point a few months ago, I dropped my pen name (Jacob) in favor of my given name (Lowell)...It was time. I still use Jacob for some of my writing, though.
As I said, it is nice to have you back. I think from the various comments you know how much you were missed!
