Burberry

taxi driver in a 'Burberry' jacket
No taxi driver in the Philippines can ever afford a real Burberry jacket on what they earn.

I went to the site and noticed that every single one of those models look like they just swallowed a poison pill! Shouldn't Burberry make on happy!

Even though I don't post on every blog entry, I'm very glad to see you blogging again. I love your view of everyday life in the Philippines - you have a great way of showing things about a part of the world that's completely different from where I live. And I'm not sure I could afford a real Burberry jacket on my salary, especially with kids' college fees to pay! But luckily I'm a t-shirt and jeans guy (I dress up for work, I wear a polo shirt instead of a t-shirt).

Speaking as a Filipino person, I know we look terrible in those trademark Burberry colors! Ha ha! Fashion is such a hard taskmaster ;)

He does look dapper, though. (You wouldn't catch me dead in branded clothes, real or fake...)

But we can all afford a fake one. And really, isn't it just as good?
