Yellow santan

yellow santan When we were children, we would carefully pull out the fine filament in the middle of each floret to suck the santan's sweet nectar.

Based upon your experiences as children, I assume that this flower would be popular with hummingbirds.

I vaguely recall doing something similar as a kid but I have no idea what flower/plant it was. This is quite beautiful!

We did that with clover flowers.
