The golden pond

Just a few of the hundreds of koi we saw in the ponds of Greenbelt, the large retail complex in my Lush post from the other day.

    A local restauranteur got fined here for refusing to rid these from his tanks. Invasive species in Maine.

    Nice. We have some in a greenhouse pond at the botanical gardens - but they are difficult to photograph for the reflection.
