I was trying to get a photo of the sunset across the breakwater that protects the
Manila Yacht Club when these two guys in a little
bangka (canoe) rowed past. Now I'm forever left wondering where they came from—the breakwater extends all the way to the shore on that end—and what they were doing.

Happy Skywatch Hilda! Loves this shot! No kidding! Oh my, I have emphasized how much I adore sunsets right? And this one is a great one I may say!

Hilda, I was awarded the BFF (blogging friends forever) Golden Card by Marie from Malta Daily Photo (click the banner on my blog). Now it's my turn to pass this award to other bloggers and I have chosen you.
ReplyDeleteHilda, this is probably one of my favorites of all your photos; and that canoe passing through the frame is the maker of this photo ... Of course, the sky is fabulous. It reminds me of the wonderful Manila sunset I've seen with my own eyes.
ReplyDeleteI Like that boat in the beautiful scenery.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Skywatch Hilda. Cheers from BC
ReplyDeleteLovely golden colours, perfect for sky watch.
ReplyDeleteA nice shot, I like the light source coming from the side rather than straight on, it makes for a more interesting composition.
ReplyDeleteFlirting?
ReplyDeleteThis is really nice Hilda.
ReplyDeleteThat is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe boat is a nice focus, but with or without the sun at Manila Bay is as always, awesome! Happy weekend!

ReplyDeleteWonderful shot.
Long time no see! (That's a chinglish greeting)
ReplyDeleteHilda,
this is a beautiful image, if it weren't for the industrial clue on the background(I mean the big yatch), I could have mistakened this for our Westlake!
They look like they are paddling through liguid gold! Thanks for visiting my blog. To answer your question about the gazebo, it is along the trail that we hiked on. There are several of them with information posted on billboards inside. Also, if you go back to the comments section on my blog someone who worked there answered your question in more detail. Happy Skywatching!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful indeed !!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, golden glowing scene! Greetings from Iowa, USA.
