Golden prow

Intrigued by the bangka that rowed across my sunset photo last Friday, I followed it as it crossed the harbor of the Manila Yacht Club. Here are some of the sailboats docked there. The tall building in the background is the 1322 Golden Empire Tower, a residential condominium along Roxas Boulevard. Its main boast is that every unit has a view of Manila Bay. It is currently the tallest building in the City of Manila, and the fourth tallest in Metro Manila. At 203 meters, it's downright puny compared to the world's tallest building.

    I bet its nice living there. A view over the bay must be great, especially with a stunning sunset to watch.

    Lovely photo of the harbor. Tall, by the way, is only when compared to something of a different and ideally diminutive height.

    The only tall building we have in malta is only 18 storeys high!!!

    As to the building, although I think it shouldn't be there, the view from its windows must be out this world...

    It reminded me of LA's Marina Del Rey - except the yachts are bigger. Lovely boat in the foreground - worth more than the yachts if you ask me.
