The Joya Lofts and Towers are luxury condominiums in Rockwell Center, across the Nestlé Philippines building and Power Plant mall. The towers are supposedly yin-yang shaped, but I don't quite see it from this perspective. I guess the relatively low building in the middle has the loft units—the windows are tall enough. It's a nice idea, but who wants a view of the street?
Thanks for your enthusiasm in her comment. You're right concerning the stones are of a different place.
ReplyDeleteImpressive buildings Manyla center, seems to have much business. As I have a loft like the photo.
Hugs
Nice looking buildings. Keep 'em coming, Hilda.
ReplyDeleteThese architectural compositions have been so striking, Hilda. Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteGuess that the Ying-Yang is already present, as the one building is all bright, while the other remains dark.
ReplyDeleteImpressive architecture indeed. Still have this dream of becoming a window cleaner ;)
All the best for you.
I suppose any view is better than none. What do you suppose a condo in these buildings costs? I sure wouldn't want to be in one in a hurricane (or typhoon)!
ReplyDeleteWhat a novel ideal for building design.
ReplyDeleteI do wonder if the "yin-yang" is reference to the fact that they look like mirror images of each other. I wouldn't mind living in any of these.
ReplyDeleteThe large scale of the high-rise buildings lend a sense of approachability to the building in the foreground. A much more human scaled size. I'd prefer living in that one, closer to the ground and with much more character.
ReplyDeleteelles font deux belles colonnes, c'est deux tours, autour de cet immeuble, avec un magnifique ciel bleu dans la cadre...
ReplyDeleteIt's always strange to have a low block with looming towers right above, but the effect is not bad here and clearly well planned.
ReplyDeleteThe buildings in Manila are really beautiful, this one included...although I'd prefer an ocean view :)
ReplyDeleteHi i am new here, just followed your comment in Noel's. Certainly you have great photos there, amazed that you are just using a, is that a Point and Shoot camera? I will always be a visitor here from now on.
ReplyDeleteI never understood it, myself. Just imagine the street noise.
ReplyDeletemaybe the yin yang view will be from a birds eye view. and i dindnt know about that. im acutally planning to be in that area this saturday because of the brasipilipinas event.
ReplyDeletereally nice looking ... indeed modern structures.... as always great shot!
ReplyDeleteVery nice buildings. I might like the idea of a street view. It would be like people watching and something interesting might happen. MB
ReplyDeleteI could never live in one of those towers because I don't like heights, but they are impressive!
ReplyDeleteMy God, so high! could anyone actually living in that heights?
ReplyDeletethat awesome...
me, i want that view, better than no view at all! ^0^
ReplyDeletecan;t complain though, rockwell's condo are pretty pricey!
They look very impressive indeed. I'm sure these condos cost an arm and a leg.
ReplyDeleteThe smaller buidling seems to be kinda challenging the taller ones! Very nice views!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
What a place. So many fine structures and buildings.
ReplyDeleteThe towers are beautiful buildings, but for some reason I like the building in the middle.
