Leisurely breakfast

I've already shown you the striking spiral sculpture and staircase of Sofitel Manila's Spiral restaurant. We are looking inside from its outdoor dining deck, which is perfect for an early morning breakfast when it's not the rainy season. The sound of falling water from this ornamental reflecting pool and from the waterfall of the lagoon-shaped swimming pool is very soothing.

  9. Oh, yes. This looks like a lovely place to spend a morning, sipping and reading and mumbling in response to interruptions. I could cope, I think.

  22. I enjoy the sound of water...always...i get lost in thought listening to it or just watching them fall like that in your photo...samahan mo ng breakfast...ay perfect!

P.S. I really laughed hard when I read your comment "I suspect that in our government, there's a direct correlation about how many security guards a person has and his/her level of corruption." Let's start counting!

  26. Ah… so serene. Very different from where I am. It is definitely possible to find a relaxing place for breakfast in Manhattan, but serene… no, haven’t seen one yet. Of course it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. Beautiful and very informative blog, Hilda!
