Only a quarter of a century old, Puno & Puno Law is one of the best-known law firms in Manila. Like most other law firms in the country, they can handle almost any kind of legal case but their particular specialty is corporate and regulatory laws. Thankfully, we were at their offices because of an event and not because we needed their services.
Stumbling across your blog brought such a delight to my heart this morning, just ten minutes ago or so. I so appreciate your commitment to take a daily photo and post it on your blog. So beautifully named.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I am passionately in love with our country. My friends and I gather together every Saturday to pray for our nation, and I pray for it everyday.
I will add you to my blog roll. Keep up the work, kababayan. You really encouraged my heart today!
Blessings,
Lidia
May time, life and honesty continue to treat them kind.

just the signage alone - this place looks fancy and expensive!
ReplyDeleteFather and son (Puno & Puno)?
ReplyDeleteI was going to tell a lawyer joke but decided it would be tasteless to do so. Not that that's ever stopped me before. But I sure don't want to get sued by a corporate, regulatory law firm! ;-)
The sign for this firm is very impressive. I'm not sure I could afford them1
ReplyDeleteLike Jacob, I'm wondering if that be Mr. Puno and his wife/brother/son? Glad you're not there as a client :D
ReplyDeleteJacob has a point here, for the untold joke and for the relation between the Puno lawyers...
ReplyDeletecela me fait penser au film avec Tom Cruise "la firme" ;))
ReplyDeleteJacob, Kaori, VP:
ReplyDeleteThe two in the sign refer to father and son, but the Puno family is a family of lawyers and many of them joined the firm. Some are already the grandchildren (including grand nieces & nephews) of the founding partner. Not all in the stable are family though — it's a pretty big firm, with 35 to 40 lawyers at any given time.
Does the internationally know law firm of Dewey, Cheatham & Howe have offices in Manila?
ReplyDelete;-D
I hope you are not needing their services!
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice sign in any case.
timely, hubby and I were discussing about lawyers :D We always have different views of them...I trashed the idea of pursuing this childhood dream of mine and stay contented being what i am now :D
ReplyDeleteThey look expensive judging by their look.
ReplyDeleteOh typography! I especially like the ampersand. So classy. :)
ReplyDeleteHilda, 40 in a law firm is not that large, really. The largest law firm has over 3600 legal advisers... And the firm Louis mentions is a gag name used to poke fun at lawyers. :-D
