Hazards

Back in November, I posted a photo of the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse in Burgos, Ilocos Norte. This is the reason why a lighthouse is needed in the area—nothing but cliffs and rocks all along the coast.

The rocks are hazardous to ships, and the goats are hazardous to drivers. The local government of Burgos ought to put goat crossing signs in their stretch of the Pan-Philippine Highway.

I would not like to run into a goat! This area looks rather desolate but beautiful nonetheless.

The last issue of Time magazine had an entire section devoted to the Philippines - it's businesses and investment opportunities and growth of its financial sector. The article also praised the president for having cleaned up corruption.

Interesting!

You've expanded your photographic vision for the end of the year. These beach scenes are so different from your urban scenes. Very cool. Happy New Year, Hilda.
