If that's a weed, send me some seeds; I'd love that in our yard! Sometimes Mother Nature surprises us.

Weed? I have seen worse flowers...
i used to know the name of this plant. my mother had many of these in her garden while i was growing up.
It looks lovely and tropical, nice to see as we're getting snow here. "Weed" has a second, very different meaning here in Colorado...
Sometimes the 'volunteers' in our yard are prettier than the things we plant.
