Amore

The Podium mall in Ortigas Center has an Italian-themed promotion going on for the Valentine weekend titled "Amore." The atrium on the second floor is set up like an outdoor café with a stage where shoppers will be serenaded by sopranos and tenors with Italian love songs and entertained by street performers—ventriloquist, magician, poet, mime, violinists and dancers—at a carnevale. Throughout the mall, Italian motorcycles and scooters are on display, most of which can be bought from dealers whose addresses and phone numbers are also on display beside the bikes. The pièce de résistance is at the mall's main entrance: a Ferrari F355 F1 Berlinetta. This is as close as I will ever get to a Ferrari.

Nice little Valentine's present for some. By the way "Hearts Day" sounds like a nice alternative name.

Excellent fiery red Ferrari for V-Day. Lots of bling with that vehicle. I am glad you enjoyed the native american hoop dance photos. I will post some more next week. It was great to watch and there was so much energy in the air. The fashion was amazing too. I will post an interesting video clip of modern native fashion next week also.

Sorry, I'm not into prestige cars at all. I can't see the point of all that money wasted on such a material object. Nice picture though.

I am not a fan of ridiculously expensive cars. I'd rather own a beat-up junk I can park anywhere without fear of being stolen or damaged. Happy Velntine's Day sa 'yo!

Lovely to look at though! Not that I would want it but as a piece of art, very nice. I posted a shiny red machine on my blog today too!

I never even stood beside a Ferrari but my friend has a Porsche and I got to stand beside that one time. LOL.

Beautiful photo of a beautiful automobile. I think I might order two of the cars...

Well, maybe in another lifetime!

Your blog is very nice, and a Happy Valentine's Day to you.

Oh come on Hilda, live dangerously: get under that rope and touch the car. Sit on the hood, even. If your husband snaps photos of you while you do, the security people will just think you are doing a photoshoot for a magazine or something. You look GOOOOOOD in red, girl!
;^)
Hope your V-Day was romantic and happy,

Martin & Bert:
I'm not one for fancy cars myself. Manila's streets will ruin this low car and its thin tires fast. And don't get me started on the fact that the Philippines is a third-world country and the price of this one car alone will feed, house and educate hundreds — if not thousands — of poor children.

Hi Hilda, It's beautiful and like in every Italian also in me there is a secret love for Ferrari, but I wouldn't buy even if I had the money. After all, it's just metal with an engine! Ciao. A.
