Last theme

We weren't able to go to the December 2 Marker Party at Sofitel Manila's 7Pecados by the Bay, but it turned out that it wasn't the last of the themed parties. There was another one on December 9, and its theme was "Glitter…

and Glow." They gave all the guests glow-in-the-dark bracelets. Hubby dear got a blue one and mine was orange.

There was a different band that night, Arpie and The Multivitamins. The guy in the hat (I think he's Arpie but I don't know for sure) seems to moonlight as a stand-up comedian too—he was really funny, but only when he was speaking in Tagalog. He kept teasing the female singer that she looked like a bangus (milkfish) in her sequined dress.

I'm glad you were able to make it to another one of those fascinating parties. I don't believe I've ever seen a milkfish, but the girl certainly doesn't look like a fish to me!

I thought the first picture was of fireworks, too.

Hilda, you always show us the most colorul, fun and entertaining events. Glitter looks spectacular. As always your photography captures it all like a professional with tons of expensive equipment. I know you tell us that you're just a snapshooter but you go way beyond that level.

What IS a Milkfish?? Is that a real fish or just a humorous insult?

And a good time was had by all! Love that first shot!

And the wristbands...well, it's nice to know where someone's hands are headed when in the dark!

Yep, would have guessed fireworks too.
Great pix in the low-light setting. Looks like a good spot to party.
Your prayers and comments while I was away were much appreciated, Hilda and certainly helped with a good outcome. Have missed your Manila and happy to return!

When he called her a bangus, he's lucky she didn't BANG him in the head with a frying pan!

I was looking at the thumbnails of my bloglist before I left to attend the workship service today, then I told myself..Hmmm looks like Hilda captured some fireworks and promised myself that I'll peek later.

Whoa! naloko ako hehehe.

ANg ganda ng shot mo Ms. Hilda, kuhang kuha ang 'glitter and glow'.

The lady singer is beautiful and her outfit suits her. Malayo sa milkfish hehehe.

Milkfish is a real fish! Yummy too, though it has sooo many bones. If you ever have the chance to try it, make sure it has already been de-boned.

Arphie and the Multivitamins! O I missed their perfromances. They used to have gigs at the now closed RnB Bar at Metrowalk. They are such an entertaining group.
