Shopping tour

I first posted a photo of this big, colorful, airconditioned jeepney in December 2008. I've seen it several times since then but only late at night, parked at the end of its tours in Harbour Square. I finally saw it in use at Bonifacio High Street. Apparently, the hop-on-hop-off route of Jeepney Tours includes many of the major shopping and dining centers of Metro Manila.

Yes, they are rather colorful. I remember these jeepnees while I was visiting your Country many years ago. The ones that I remember we not as big. Much smaller, but still very colorful. Don't remember taking a ride in one, but I do recall seeing quite a few running up and down the streets.

Since I have never seen these "jeepnees" before, I first thought that they were so much different than what I was used to. Being in a strange Country, I saw many different things. It's part of what opened my eye's to the world. They were not air-conditioned, that I knew of back then.

Thanks for the memories, Hilda
Les

HI HIlda, thanks for seeing me!

Love this model also, but I prefer the typical philippine jeepney, Yun talaga and pinoy jeep!

See you again.

Ahhh jeepneys..reminded me of my college days. I used to ride the jeepneys to and from UERM.

During my vacation ( last July), i have seen an airconditioned jeepney but never got the chance to ride. Sigh*

By the way,I replied to your question in my post.

I saw some jeepneys like this in Cloverleaf Balintawak. I can say this is the best jeepney to ride on while on shopping. Thanks for sharing
