Rosy moment

The delicate pink stained glass windows of the Chapel of St. Thomas More in the Ateneo Professional Schools do not have obviously religious images unlike those in other Catholic churches and chapels I've seen.

You are correct. This is more secular than the typical church stained glass window. There are some rather modern stained glass windows on churches in France that we have seen that are more artistic than religious, including some by Chagall.

I think I prefer these artistic stained glass windows to the older busy stories of the apostles style.

Even though these windows may not have obviously religious symbols, they do invite serene contemplation of God's beautiful world.

A very peaceful chapel... the dusty rose pink glass is perfect. Nice shot of the window with the greenery outside, Hilda.

Beautiful stained glass shot! Very dramatic shot, in deep contemplation.

P.S. Hope to be back blogging in the days to come. Been tending to a sick cat, she's feeling better now.

I like these better than the usual religiously inclined stained glass windows also. But what really makes this picture is the silhouette of the student! Nicely done!
