“door” "Most of the time, doors remain closed simply because they have not been tried to be opened!"
~Mehmet Murat ildan, Turkish novelist and playwright

The bronze doors of the Abbey of Our Lady of Montserrat (also known as the San Beda Chapel) in San Miguel, Manila surprised me for not having any religious iconography on them. I really like them, though, and I regret not asking who the artist was.

These patterns are quite lovely, Hilda... and so different from what you'd expect in church doors.

even without religious imagery, i feel the design is very spiritual.

I think I see the dove of peace. Even if it isn't clearly shown, I do believe it looks like a very religious door. You wouldn't put this door on a drug store, or a supermarket, or an auto showroom, or a sporting goods store, or a restaurant...it belongs on a religious building! :)
