The
Penguin Café Gallery in
Malate, Manila (just several blocks away from the
Malate Church) derived its name from the owner's large collection of penguins. Here is one decorating a lamp in a corner, with a couple of penguins painted on the window. I don't know if geckos have the same type of habitat, but this twisted one looks happy enough sharing the same space as the penguins.

there's a penguin cafe in malate? hmmm... how come i've never seen it before? ^-^ the interior looks art nouveau inspired though...
Penquins are such interesting and entertaining creatures. Lovely shot, Hilda.
Is this a cafe and a gallery?
It looks like a cute place.
There was a restaurant/diner here who's owners displayed their collection of frogs. Hundreds of them. Who wouldn't like penguins?
Penguins in Manila? Interesting! ;-))This place looks very nice.
aww..penguins are so cute. this cafe sounds interesting. i'll try going there.
Collections of penguins? Sharing places with geckos? Everything is possible in a cafè, which looks very, very nice!
Manilla is the country where penguins are allway.
Is there anyone who doesn't like penguins?
Not sure if penguins and geckos would share a habitat in the wild, but here they seem to get along quite well!
Very cool!
Penguin Cafe (Orchestra) is the name of a musical group. They are pretty good.
If you just have to collect something, you couldn't do better than penguins! I love them! Nice shot Hilda.
That is a great concept for a cafe/restaurant.
That's very original, must be a nice place to sip come coffee.
God bless you!
Cezar
What kind of food do they serve in this restautant
I think people would come to see the penguins as much as to get a meal. It sounds like a good ploy to me, and definitely lends itself to a neat odd shot photo.
Geckos and penguins cohabitating? That is odd.
