I've already posted a picture of Bonifacio High Street before, and here's another, this time taken from the roofdeck of Fully Booked. If you enlarge the photo, you can see that large spider of a rock (Reg Yuson's "Specific Gravity") and some of the shopping and dining promenade's other water features. Unlike the other side, this side of Bonifacio Global City is more densely built up. I really hope it doesn't get much worse than this.
Its good to see a little strip of green. Do you have many green areas and parks in the city?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice spot in the middle of the urban jungle.
ReplyDeletea lovely green oasis!
ReplyDeleteI'm also impressed with the fact that though it is quite built up, as you say, the developers thought enough of the people to provide the green space and some water...makes the whole thing much more livable!
ReplyDeleteSo many contrasts here! City/nature, straight lines/curves, rock/water, all the signs of humanity but so few people.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great photo Hilda.
Manila is looking green, lush and sunny! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteI found you through one blog and that one from another! Just wanted to say hi from Georgia :o)
My mom's family are from the Philippines. My dad is from Wisconsin and I grew up moving with them since he was in the Air Force. Then moved more with my husband and children. I'll be back this weekend, to read more.
Blessings & Aloha!
