Slow day

This sidewalk vendor had positioned his stall in front of Claret School and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Church. He was selling mostly small, inexpensive plastic toys. He must earn a lot during school days and Sundays, but since it was a weekday holiday when I took this, he must have spent the entire day just 'texting.'

My kids would go wild here!

He's got quite a selection! I have found though, that toys bought at vendors like this over here only last about a day...or less!

That's a very impressive stall. I wonder what he does with his inventory at night? He must really dislike school holidays!

I wonder what this weekday holiday is for. In Italy today is devoted to Saint Biagio who's supposed to heal all the diseases connect to your throat. Ciao. A.

When I read the title I wondered if the post would be about saving energy or not consuming...still I guess it was for him.
Texting...I'm so slow at it.

He must be missing the giggling students!

Couldn't the school have told him it was a holiday, he could have stayed in bed!

Yes, he doesn't seem to be making his fortune today!

Oh, this place has too many tempting things! Glad he is keeping busy and connected while the pace is slow.

Lovely capture. It is very reminiscent of old grade school days. I miss skipping lunch to save for those inexpensive toys. None of them toys lived long enough to see this day, but it's okay.

Nice one! How did you click him without he knowing it? :)

I like how you framed him and the umbrella to the left, to give your photo good focal point. I'll bet that's a loooong boring day without customers.
