A longer view of Quezon Hall, the main administration building of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, with the statue of the Oblation, which I posted for the CDP May theme day, in its small green plaza. The University of the Philippines, or U.P. for short, is the country's premier state university.

This is truly impressive, Hilda! I love those stately columns!
Imposant view, yet in my opinion, the statue is still able to concentrate the attention upon it.
Seems a bit as if he's supporting or uplifting the building.
Please have a wonderful start into the new week.

Nice capture Ms. Hilda.
Super tagal na ng huling nakapunta ako sa UP. If my memory serves me right, year 2001 pa ata yun.
What a place indeed Hilda. I like the raised walkway from one end to the other too.
That is one beautiful campus!
the columns are so tall. Vry nice architecture.

A grand place with such a large open area. Perfect to get fresh air and become inspired.
Beautiful place!
I love this view! It's a lovely structure.
Hilda,
very interesting to see the Oblation in the "context". The surrounding and the statue maximize each other's grandness.Inspiring and appropriate setting for the university.
This is a very impressive setting! You've made a wonderful capture.
Very nice Hilda. I like the little pathway leading up to the statue and of course the columns!
Imposing, impressive but not oppressive. So interesting to slowly learn about these places. Wish I had time to follow more blogs.
Always wanted to see it but never got the chance nor time to go. Pity really. Keep featuring the uni. Thanks.
Gotta love UP; but in my heart, I will always be an Atenean:D
This view adds a new perspective at the 'diver' statue! I really like the solemn portal and the nice path leading to the statue.
