Don't ask

Not only is there no consistency to the design of Metro Manila's footbridges or overpasses, some of their locations aren't very well thought out either. But the one at Philcoa, the same one with the cute anime graffiti, has got to be the worst. It's the only one, so far, that I've seen that ends in the middle of the street. There used to be an island there so pedestrians were protected from vehicles when they got down the steps. Whose great idea to remove it, I have no idea, but he or she obviously doesn't use public transportation.

I'd laugh because it's sort of funny except I'm fearful that someone is going to be hurt or killed there.

oh ! how impressive a sight. A further proof that doing work inside an office many times has no relation to the outside.
Maybe the right people will read this entry of yours and things might change.
Please have a good Friday.

That is extraordinary, I can't imagine what the designer was thinking.

I suppose it was designed/built when there was less traffic.

I agree that the design of this footbridge doesn't make sense. I only hope no one gets killed getting on or off of it.

Hilda, the ones at Ever Gotesco Commonwealth are like that too. Looks like the work of the same "designer."

It's different indeed!
Anyway I think those passages are important for people be safe, mainly in big cities.

That is just not believable that it actually ends in the middle of the street. I have never seen of anything like that. Aren't people hit and injured by the traffic??

I am always amazed at the wonderful chaos of the signs in these street scenes.
