Steampunk details

I was so curious about these things when I noticed them at SM City North EDSA mall that I just had to come up to them to find out what they were. And yes, take pictures. I like how they look, peeling paint and all.

This looked like it could have been a WWII bomb or a telescope.

But it's just an exhaust fan in the parking building.

Awesome photos! I thought the 2nd photo was a security camera. :)

I figured the things in that second shot were cameras, too. Well, it's good to know exactly what the stuff is hanging over one's head.

Re the Japanese Steak House...no, we haven't eaten there, largely because I don't eat beef and Lois Anne's a vegetarian...but I've hear the food is very good!

I would probably have just walked pass this, too. The fan actually looks like an engine on the jumbo jet. Great eye, Hilda!

I know steam, I remember punks, but a steampunk??? Never heard of this before. It conjures strange pictures in my mind, a steamed Vivienne Westwood...
