Tracks

tracks of the MRT Ayala Station I've only just noticed the small rocks on the tracks of the Metrostar light rail system—better known as the MRT (Metro Rail Transit)—at the Ayala station. The MRT is elevated for most of its length and I suddenly wondered if there are also rocks on those elevated portions.

Oh, really nice - it makes me think of an art display! Almost like a train-themed zen garden:)

We just moved to Manila (Makati) and I stumbled across your blog the other day. Love how you're able to find beauty in the simplest of things. It can be a challenge to do so - especially in a city of this size. Feel free to check out my blog some time. I'm sure it will have an increasingly Manila/Filipino flare as the years pass. http://simple-pleasures-ebks.blogspot.com/

I have traveled to 26 countries, and in each country where I have traveled by train; I have always seen these gray rocks supporting the tracks.

Nice symmetrical lines. I guess you're going to have to climb the elevated portions to answer your question.

Someone once told me I had rocks in my head but I've never been able to find them!

This is positioned 90 degrees from the typical view of railroad tracks.
