Splish splash sploosh

In the mall that doesn't look like a mall that is Eastwood City Walk, this fountain stands in the middle of a round plaza called Fuente Circle surrounded by cafés and restaurants. The powerful jet actually produces waves in the basin and causes the water to splash out the sides. I love the sound it makes.

I think it is nice that this is inside the mall. I'll bet people throw coins in the fountain.

I wish I was somewhere near this fountain instead of at work! I have a feeling this is going to be a long day.

The ambiance is always nicer when you have a water fountain. It certainly looks like a great mall to visit and relax and maybe take a refreshing dip?

Nice fountain and shot too!

Regarding your comment, Hilda, antiques robbery is a problem here, especially in old isolated small churches (there are thousands) in the country side, especially centuries old imagery... Tiles are more difficult to get as you need to destroy a wall to get just a few undamaged ones. But it all happens!...

I'm with you, I love the sound of water in a fountain, or at a beach, or even just gushing out of a faucet. The sound of water always makes me happy.

That sure looks like a powerful fountain.
Lovely catch!

Great photo Hilda. Sitting by the edge of that lovely fountain on a really hot day must feel rather nice and yes the sound of the water too. I always find that so calming whether it's waves splashing in or water rushing down.

I love the sound a fountain makes. Every other sound around it is so much nicer. Thanks Hilda.

Do people throw coins in the fountain? They do here for "good luck."

What a fantastic picture, I really like how you framed the fountain. The place behind the fountain looks like a nice place for lunch!

Jacob & B Squared:
Yes, some do throw coins in the fountain, but mostly just young children. The mall collects the money regularly and donates it to a charity. I forget which but it's written on a plaque on the other side of the fountain.
