I've already shown you the striking
spiral sculpture and staircase of
Sofitel Manila's Spiral restaurant. We are looking inside from its outdoor dining deck, which is perfect for an early morning breakfast when it's not the rainy season. The sound of falling water from this ornamental reflecting pool and from the
waterfall of the lagoon-shaped
swimming pool is very soothing.
See what's reflecting what at James' Weekend Reflections.

I would love to eat anything out there...(when it's not raining.) Gorgeous place!
What an interesting waterfall!
Hilda, you come up with some good ones for the Weekend Reflections!
Looks like a great place to just relax!
A great reflective window photo! We have a lovely Hotel Sofitel here in the Twin Cities, too.
Great reflections Hilda.
One of my favorite hotel in the city.
Enjoy the weekend.
Love to visit the place someday. Great reflection shot, Hilda. Have a great weekend.
Hi Hilds, i love the flowing water underneath ... great shot ..
Fishing Village
Oh, yes. This looks like a lovely place to spend a morning, sipping and reading and mumbling in response to interruptions. I could cope, I think.
Very clear reflections in the window !
I like the game of reflections, between the windows and the pool..Nice place!
Seems like a relaxing place to me, great shot! :)
The hotel scenes in all your links are stunning. It sounds and looks like a superb place to stay. The reflections in this picture are so lifelike.
Nice reflections!
A nice place for breakfast :-)
There's so much going on here Hilda, how can you concentrate on breakfast?!!
I don't think you could get a better shot..this is a perfect angle..I can see the pretty water flow-
I agree with ciel, I would be very distracted and trying to pint my camera in every direction...
Very interesting reflection. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Nice photo... seems like the place to meet to break-fast!
The sound of water is indeed soothing. And this is a lovely reflection in the windows.
This is a good one Hilda. I like reflections like this. I look at it and the reflection slowly gets clearer until it's the star of the show.
Cool. Nice reflection shot. No wonder Sofitel is so famous. The place looks great. Malamang kung ako ang nandyan, walang humpay ang camera ko sa kakaclick :)
I enjoy the sound of water...always...i get lost in thought listening to it or just watching them fall like that in your photo...samahan mo ng breakfast...ay perfect!
P.S. I really laughed hard when I read your comment "I suspect that in our government, there's a direct correlation about how many security guards a person has and his/her level of corruption." Let's start counting!
Clever photo, more to see than you realise at first
I agree - one really has to look for a while to catch all of what's in this picture. I especially love the water - very soothing!
I agree this would be a wonderful place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast.
Ah… so serene. Very different from where I am. It is definitely possible to find a relaxing place for breakfast in Manhattan, but serene… no, haven’t seen one yet. Of course it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. Beautiful and very informative blog, Hilda!
Blue.
having coffee among the trees would be more interesting. Great photo.
